Push Rod Camera Systems have a camera on the end of a stiff rod and are simply pushed into the pipe. Portable push rod systems are useful for inspections where access is limited e.g. inside factories, behind or high up buildings; in rodding eyes where crawlers cannot be inserted; in pipes which have many bends; in short vertical inspections such as rainwater down-pipes; penstock inlets, etc.
There are various systems on the market today. These are priced from “affordable” ranges to more “costly” systems.
The terms “affordable” and “costly” are easily conceived to be opposites with the differences likely to be numerous, much the same as if we had replaced the term “affordable” with “limited application”. But, whilst “costly” implies an item at great expense, “limited application” implies item to be ineffective or not able to do the job required. This would automatically relegate the item to “money poorly spent” without consideration of the lower price initially paid. Classic buyers’ remorse!
Allow us to assist you in spending your money wisely, without remorse, when choosing your Push Rod System.

Built with best materials, this mC camera system family contains very compact, versatile, easy to use, simple but very rugged optical camera systems in different sizes.
The mC15, the latest product of this family, a colour inspection system is specially designed for small pipes in the range of 15mm up to 125mm. Two different camera heads, the 13mm camera head directly attached to the Push-Pull cable, or the changeable 18mm camera head which is connected to the push rod cable can be ordered with the mC15. For bigger pipes we recommend the mC30, mC30Duo, ideal for industry and in-house inspection. For even bigger pipes we suggest you have a closer look at the mC50, mC50Duo and mC80. All of those optical inspection systems are built for the harsh environment, easy to use with a exceptional performance and reliability.
minCam´s Duo camera systems, the mC30Duo and the mC50Duo are very unique. The Twin Reel design offers the flexibility of 2 cameras in one compact package. Inner reel contains small camera with a more flexible cable for those small access inspections with tight turns. Outer reel has a larger camera with stiffer cable for larger inspections. With the Duo cameras mC30Duo, mC50Duo you get 2 camera systems in 1. The mC-camera, the ideal camera system for Failure Analysis, Cleaning Validation, Floor Drains, Heat Exchangers, FME Detection, Down Corners, Attemperators, Vessels, Ducting, Tanks, Product Lines, Fuel Nozzles, Coal Handling Piping, Conduit, Progressing, Cavity Pumps, Steam Lines, Process Sewers, Water Lines, Fin Fan Tubes, Underground, Bus Ducts, Valves, Turbine Extraction Piping, Process Lines …
mainline-manhole to manhole
This compact colour camera system is extreme small, lightweight and ideal for the optical, non-destructive inspection of pipes, cavities, welding seams, turbines, hollow girder and cast parts. With the help of this mini-camera system you can detect firmly bonded deposits, abrasions and deformations in narrow, elbowed, hard approachable and dangerous not illuminated locations without cost intensive disassembling the parts.
Detected damages can be stored as picture and/or as video directly to the SD-card. The minCord camera system with a camera head of only 13mm in outer diameter is a combination of a well-known normal camera system with a Fiberscope. This unique system combines the advantage of the resolution from a normal inspection system, about 320k pixel (30k pixel of a Fiberscope) with the handling and size of a Fiberscope camera system. This mini-camera-system is ideal and predesignated for architects, construction engineers, reviewers, plumbers, caretakers and controllers for maintenance, for quality control and expertise.

Understand sewer condition rapidly and affordably with the Quickview zoom camera. Using high-powered zoom optics, Quickview assesses sewer lines from an adjoining manhole, and also inspects manholes and tanks. It’s perfect for:
Zoom pipe inspection began 15 years ago with QuickView, and Envirosight has just reinvented the concept with a revolutionary new QuickView model that vastly outperforms anything on the market.
At the core of this new design is patent-pending Haloptic technology, a targeting method we’ve devised that doubles inspection range, delivers up to 20 times more illumination, and eliminates the need for incremental realignment. However, Haloptic isn’t the only improvement:The ClipStream™ pole-mounted viewer/recorder presents real-time footage on a 90mm color LCD, and stores up to 16 GB of video and still images on a micro SD card. The screen undocks for wireless viewing/recording.
An auxiliary manhole camera with diffuse lighting captures wide-angle views with the flip of a switch.A rugged, waterproof roller case with telescoping handle stows all system components in one convenient kit.
Now more than ever, QuickView is your choice for rapid, complete and cost-effective survey of underground infrastructure.Trusted by more than 2000 users worldwide, the patented QuickView® zoom inspection camera evaluates pipelines, manholes and tanks from street level. Contractors use it to survey pipe condition before bidding services, and to document completed work. Municipalities use it to identify and prioritize maintenance issues, avoid confined-space entry, and inspect hard-to-reach infrastructure. Departments of transportation use it to assess culvert and storm pipe condition with minimal exposure to traffic.
